A low-voltage path lighting kit for gardens where solar will not cut it. Running from a transformer means consistent output every night regardless of how much sun the fittings saw during the day — which is the real limitation of solar in shaded or northern gardens.

Materials
Powder-coated aluminum fittings with glass lenses and low-voltage cable.
Intended use
Paths, driveways, and borders in shaded gardens, and anywhere reliable nightly lighting matters more than ease of installation.
Assembly
Cable is laid, usually shallowly buried, and fittings connect along it. The transformer must be plugged into a suitable outdoor-rated exterior socket.
Care
Check connections annually and keep them clear of standing water.

Not included
Outdoor socket, cable ducting, and extension cable are sold separately. Electrical work should be carried out by a qualified electrician where local rules require it.
