2. Products and descriptions
We describe each product as accurately as we are able, including its materials, intended use, assembly requirements and care needs. Where a specification is not confirmed by our supplier, we omit it rather than estimate it.
Natural and cast materials vary between pieces. Reactive glazes on stoneware, cast stone patina, timber grain and colour, and the rate at which teak, cedar and copper weather will differ from item to item and from any photograph shown. This variation is characteristic of the materials and is not a defect.
3. Pricing and tax
Prices are shown in US dollars and are subject to change. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout and displayed before you complete your order. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel an affected order with a full refund where a price has been listed incorrectly.
4. Orders
Your order is an offer to purchase. We accept your order when we send you a shipping confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order before that point, including where an item is unavailable, where a pricing error has occurred, or where we cannot deliver to the address given.
5. Shipping and returns
Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy. Returns, refunds and damage claims are covered by our Refund & Return Policy. Both form part of these terms.
In summary: we ship within the United States only, to the 48 contiguous states; returns may be requested within 30 days of delivery subject to the eligibility conditions set out in the Refund & Return Policy; and transit damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
6. Safe use of outdoor products
Several categories in our range carry real risk if used incorrectly. Fire pits, chimineas, fire tables, bioethanol burners, grills and smokers produce high heat and open flame. Structures such as pergolas, gazebos and awnings are affected by wind loading. Low-voltage and mains-connected lighting involves electrical installation.
You are responsible for following the manufacturer instructions supplied with each product, for siting products safely and at a suitable distance from structures and overhanging growth, for complying with local rules on open fires and permanent structures, and for engaging a qualified professional where installation requires one. We accept no liability for injury, damage or loss arising from installation or use that departs from the supplied instructions or from applicable local requirements.
