CDIKA — Premium patio, garden and outdoor living

About CDIKA

CDIKA is an outdoor living range built around a simple observation: most of what gets sold for outdoor use is designed to look good on the day it arrives, and to be replaced within a few seasons. We would rather sell you something once.

What we work on

Our range covers the whole outdoor space rather than one corner of it. Six collections, chosen so that a patio, a terrace, a balcony or a garden can be put together from one place without the pieces fighting each other.

  • Patio Furniture — modular sectionals, dining sets, coffee and side tables, loungers and accent chairs.
  • Shade & Shelter — cantilever and market umbrellas, pergolas and gazebos, shade sails, privacy screens and outdoor curtains.
  • Fire & Outdoor Cooking — fire pits, fire tables, chimineas and bioethanol burners, alongside pellet, kamado, gas, charcoal and offset cooking.
  • Planters & Garden — fibreglass, stoneware, concrete and galvanised planters, cedar raised beds, plant stands, trellis, and hand tools.
  • Outdoor Lighting — solar and low-voltage path lighting, spotlights and well lights, wall sconces, post caps, bollards, string lights and cordless lamps.
  • Outdoor Décor — rugs, cushions and throws, statuary, wind chimes, bird baths, doormats and deck storage.

How we choose

We start with the material, not the photograph. Outdoors, material behaviour is the whole story: teak carries natural oils that let it sit outside untreated; aluminium will not rust, which is why it can stay out through winter; cedar resists rot without chemical treatment, which matters when you are growing food in it; high-fired stoneware absorbs far less water than terracotta, so it handles frost differently.

Where a piece is designed to be brought indoors — cushions, textiles, rechargeable lighting — we say so rather than implying it can be forgotten about in November.

How we write about products

Every product page tells you what a piece is made from, what it is intended for, what assembly it needs, how to look after it, what is included in the box, and what is not. Where a specification is not confirmed, we leave it out rather than estimate it. We would rather a description be shorter than wrong.

You will not find urgency counters, invented review scores or fabricated stock warnings on this site. If something is a trade-off, the description says so.

Thoughtful design, everyday use

The pieces in this range are meant to be used, not staged. Slatted tables that drain after rain. Cushion foam that lets water pass through instead of holding it. Umbrella bases heavy enough to actually hold an umbrella. Modular seating that can be rearranged when the shape of your space changes, rather than replaced.

Questions

If you are unsure whether something suits your space, your climate or the way you will actually use it, get in touch through our Contact page. Tell us what you are working with and we will point you at what fits — including telling you when nothing in the range is right.
