A multi-tube wind chime tuned to a pentatonic scale, which is why it sounds harmonious rather than random no matter which tubes the wind strikes. Randomly cut chimes produce dissonant intervals; tuned ones do not.

Care
Check the cord annually and replace it if it shows wear; cord failure is what usually ends a chime's life, not the tubes. Take down in severe weather.
