A long run of cafe string lights on a heavy-duty cable, with spaced sockets and hanging loops built in. Strung across a patio or between a house wall and a tree, they do more for outdoor atmosphere than any single fitting.

Materials

Assembly
Suspend using the built-in loops. A guide wire is recommended for long spans so the weight is not carried by the cable itself.
Care
Take down and store dry over winter if you want them to last several seasons. Check for damaged bulbs before each use.
